Establishing an account:

When the residence has met all requirements and the meter has been installed, the account will be opened and billed to the contractor until the new customer calls to transfer the account to their name. Contractors should encourage new owners to contact Mountain Water as soon as possible after the house is purchased to transfer the account. Once the account has been established and the entire tap size is in use—the tap deposit will be refunded.
